Scope of work. Mavis Eco Cool was engaged to provide preventive maintenance and emergency response across cassette and ducted HVAC systems serving operating theatres, ICU corridors, lab spaces and outpatient consultation rooms. Each zone has different air-quality and humidity tolerances, so the maintenance plan is split by criticality and rebuilt every six months. The scope includes filter change, coil chemical wash, drain pump testing, refrigerant pressure checks and on-call emergency aircon repair on a 24-hour rota.
Challenges and outcome. Hospital HVAC cannot be shut down without coordination — patients depend on stable temperature and humidity. We work in pre-agreed time windows around theatre schedules, and run noise-sensitive jobs during off-peak hours. Over the engagement we have delivered zero unplanned downtime in critical zones, brought several long-running ducted units back to original cooling capacity, and handed over a written maintenance log that supports the hospital's compliance reporting.
